THE ROLE OF CHURCH IN DISCIPLES' LIVES

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."  - Matthew 18:20

Paul described the church as the "BODY OF CHRIST" -- all members are one with each other and with Christ, the head of the church.

The church OFFERS FELLOWSHIP -- the opportunity to share WORSHIP, STUDY of God's word and SERVICE to others.

and CHALLENGE -- the kind Jesus gave his earlier disciples:

• to FOLLOW selflessly.
• to SACRIFICE on behalf of others.
• to LOVE with a depth that knows no end.
• to SEEK to learn more of Jesus and to win others to him.
