ELDERS In the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) tradition, Arden's elders are asked to be the congregation's spiritual leaders. We ask for the support of the congregation, and pray that we may receive gifts of Christian discernment and leadership to guide us in our role.

Arden Christian Church calls its elders to present offering and communion meditations at our 8 a.m. and 10:30 services, as well as take communion to members who are physically unable to attend Sunday worship. Elders are often found giving assistance in many other ways at church functions, committees and boards. 

Please know that advanced age is NOT a prerequisite for eldership! Women and men can be elders. If you feel called to serve Christ and your church as an elder (or, know someone else who should receive the call), see co-chairs Brian Gayek or Ron Adams.
